How much does a website cost in Juneau?
Websites start around $750 for a clean one-page Starter site. A full custom Standard site is around $1,000, and the scroll-driven Premium hero adds $150. Every business is different, so these are typical prices, and we settle the exact number together before any work starts.
Who is Contour Design Co.?
Contour Design Co. is Maddox Carroll, a one-person web design studio in Juneau, Alaska. There is no account manager and no hand-off. You talk to me from the first message to launch, and I reply the same day.
Do you only work with businesses in Juneau?
I live and work in Juneau and build for local businesses here, but I also build websites, logos and marketing for small businesses across Southeast Alaska and the rest of the state. Everything happens by phone, text, email or video, so you do not need to be in town.
Do you use templates?
No. Every site is designed and built by hand around your business, your colors and your logo, not a template with your name dropped in.
When do I pay?
Nothing is due until you are fully happy with your site. You pay once it is finished.
How long does a website take?
It depends on the size of the site and how quickly we can gather your photos and text. A simple one-page site is quicker than a multi-page site with a gallery and booking. When we talk through your project I give you a realistic timeline before anything starts.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every site is built so Google can read it: fast, mobile friendly, with the page titles, descriptions and structured data search engines look for. No one can honestly promise a number one ranking, but a well built site plus a complete Google Business Profile gives a local business the best foundation to be found.
Can you set up my Google Business Profile?
Yes. Logo cleanup and Google Business Profile setup is around $100. It puts your business on Google Maps and search, gives you a review link to text customers after a job, and sharpens your logo for web, print and social.
Do I own my domain and website?
Yes. Your domain is registered in your name through Cloudflare, and depending on the name it can cost as little as $10 a year, so it is always yours.
What if I need changes after the site is live?
The Site Care plan is $25 a month and includes both content and design updates as often as you need them, plus monitoring, backups and security, with no contract. Or pay as you go: $50 for a content update, $75 for a design update.
Do you design logos?
Yes. I clean up and sharpen existing logos for web, print and social, and build brand identity around a new site so everything matches.
Do you run social media?
Yes. Social media marketing for Instagram and Facebook is $100 to $200 a month. I write and schedule posts, turn your job photos into content, and send a monthly report on what it brought in.
